Buchanan Clinic provides specialist expert witness services in Orthotics across Scotland. Our fully qualified clinicians are experienced in the assessment and treatment of both standard and complex conditions and in delivering detailed Orthotic reporting. Our experience allows us to provide accurate and timely Orthotic consultation services for legal reporting. All Orthotic expert witness are Bond Solon trained and certified with the requisite Healthcare bodies, and fully Disclosure checked.

Assessments can be undertaken in Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Medico-Legal Reports

We can offer an initial client assessment within 2 weeks of enquiry and provide a full medicolegal report within 6 weeks of the initial assessment. We provide profession-specific reports such as:

• Quantum Reports
• Expert Witness 
• Orthotic Reports
• Reports for Claimants or Defendants
• Immediate Needs Assessment 

The Medico-Legal team will tailor the report to your needs, however, our reports generally include:

• Examination Findings
• Orthotic Needs of the Claimant
• Expert Opinion on Prescription of Orthoses
• Breakdown of Costs

How Much Does a Report Cost?

The cost of a full report can differ depending on factors such as the complexity of the case and background reading. We will provide a full quotation following an initial enquiry.
